Ingredients

3 -4 karela ( bitter gourds )
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons rice flour
2 tablespoons besan flour ( chickpea flour or gram flour )
1 teaspoon red chili powder ( or more according to taste )
Fried Karela Chips is a delicious and healthy snack made from bitter gourds. These chips are crunchy, crispy, and have a slightly bitter flavor. Instructions

1.Rinse the karela (bitter gourds) and slice them into thin rounds
2.Sprinkle salt over the sliced karela and let them rest for 30 minutes
3.Squeeze out the excess water from the salted karela
4.Add rice flour, besan flour, and red chili powder to the squeezed karela and mix well to combine
5.Heat oil in a pan and add the karela slices to the hot oil. Fry on medium flame till crispy and golden brown
6.Remove from the pan and place on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney
