8 apples , cored and cut in desired shape
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 cup raisins ( optional )

Instructions

4.Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom over the apples and stir to distribute the spices evenly.
5.Cover the skillet and cook the apples for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and caramelized.
6.If using, stir in 1/4 cup of raisins into the apples during the last few minutes of cooking.
