Ingredients

1 lb prepared pizza dough , room temperature ( I used Pizza Dough Bread Machine for one pie )
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small sweet onion , sliced
4 -6 fresh figs , cut in half
5 ounces goat cheese ( if you can get goat cheese with cranberries it fabulous )
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese , shredded
olive oil
cornmeal

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 450°F.
2.Lightly oil a 12-inch pizza pan and sprinkle with cornmeal.

5.Brush the dough with olive oil.
6.In a medium pan, sauté the sliced onions in olive oil on medium-high heat until caramelized.
7.Add the caramelized onions to the top of the pizza dough.
8.Add the fresh fig halves to the top of the onion layer.
9.Sprinkle with the chopped rosemary.
10.Crumble the goat cheese over the top of the pizza.
11.Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
12.Drizzle the pizza with olive oil.
13.Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
