3 lbs chuck roast ( trimmed )
2 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 bay leaf
3 -4 peppercorns
8 French rolls , split ( or your choice roll )

Instructions

1.Cut the trimmed chuck roast into several pieces, about 4-6 pieces should suffice.
2.Combine the water, soy sauce, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, bay leaf, and peppercorns in the crockpot. Add the beef, then turn to coat.
3.Cook on low for 7-8 hours, until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
4.Remove the beef from the crockpot and shred. Reserve the leftover juice for dipping.
5.Toast the split French rolls and add the beef inside to make the sandwiches. Serve alongside leftover juice from the crockpot for dipping.
