1 1/2 lbs Granny Smith apples , peeled , cored , cut into 8 wedges , and sliced 1/8 inch thick crosswise
1 tablespoon calvados
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

1.Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 325 degrees F. Generously grease 9-inch springform pan and place on rimmed baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

6.Bake until top is golden brown and edges are pulling away from sides of pan, 65 to 75 minutes.
7.Let cool in pan on wire rack for 5 minutes. Run paring knife around sides of cake to loosen. Remove cake from pan, discarding foil, and let cool completely on rack for about 2 hours. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
