7 ounces almond paste ( Odense )
1/2 cup sugar , room temp
1/2 cup butter , room temp
3 eggs , slightly beaten
1/2 cup cake flour
Frazipan, also known as Danish Almond Cake, is a classic dessert that originated in Denmark. The cake is made with almond paste, which gives it a uniquely rich and nutty flavor. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Grease an 8-inch cake pan with butter and dust with flour.
3.In a large mixing bowl, beat together almond paste, sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
4.Gradually add in beaten eggs, mixing well after each addition.
5.Fold in cake flour until batter is smooth and evenly mixed.
6.Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth out the top.
7.Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
8.Remove from oven and let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
