Ingredients

1 cup yellow moong dal ( split yellow gram )
1 cup green peas , defrosted
1 -2 green chili
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
salt
1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

1.Rinse the yellow moong dal and soak it in enough water for 5 to 6 hours.
2.Drain water and add dal in a grinder.
3.Add defrosted green peas, green chili, ginger, salt, and coriander leaves, and blend it to form a smooth paste.
4.Take a bowl and transfer the dal mixture into it. Add chopped onions and mix well.
5.Preheat a non-stick pan on a medium flame and add a teaspoon of olive oil.
6.Pour a ladleful of the mixture and spread it evenly to make a pancake.
7.Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes on low-medium flame until the base is slightly golden brown.
8.Flip the pancake and cook the other side too.
9.Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
