Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup black millet flour ( bajra )
grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
salt
2 teaspoons oil , to brush the theplas

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, black millet flour, grated garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.
2.Add water in small quantities and knead to make a stiff dough.
3.Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4.Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into circles.
5.Heat a tawa or griddle and place the rolled thepla on it.
6.Cook on both sides until golden brown.
7.Brush with oil and serve hot with yogurt or chutney.
