3/4 lb fresh baby carrots
1/2 lb asparagus
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375 F.
2.Cut the onion into small pieces and break apart the carrot leaves.
3.Snap the end off of the asparagus and cut into 1 inch pieces.
4.In a mixing bowl, mix together the onion, carrot, and asparagus.
5.Add water and butter, then sprinkle with salt and white pepper.
6.Add bay leaf and stir everything well.
7.Take a sheet of aluminum foil and place the vegetables in the middle. Wrap tightly in foil.
8.Put the packet in oven and cook it for 25 minutes.
9.After 25 minutes, take the packet out of the oven, remove the bay leaf, and allow the vegetables inside to cool down a bit before serving.
