1 -2 tablespoon onion powder
salt , to taste
fresh ground black pepper , to taste

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg and water until well blended.
2.Add the pancake mix, matzo meal, melted butter or margarine, parsley flakes, onion powder, salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.
3.Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
4.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. With wet hands, form the potato mixture into 1-inch balls.
5.Reduce the heat to a simmer and carefully drop the balls into the water.
6.Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7.Drain the Kneidlach and serve hot with your favorite gravy or sauce.
