4 thick pork chops ( about 2 inches thick )
1 3/4 ounces butter
4 large tart apples
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 crushed juniper berries

rosemary sprig
5 sprigs parsley
1 ounce butter ( to pour over )

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2.Take the thick pork chops and season them with salt and pepper to your taste.
3.Melt the 1 3/4 ounces butter iN a suitable oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops to the pan, and sear for about 3 minutes per side.
4.Cut the tart apples into slices. Remove the pork chops from the pan and set aside. Add apple slices to the same pan and cook them until the apples are lightly caramelized but still hold their shape.
5.Add the crushed juniper berries, lemon juice, and a sprig of rosemary to the pan. Stir well to incorporate.
6.Return the pork chops to the pan. Add 1 ounce of butter in small pieces over the pork chops and apple slices, and top with parsley sprigs.
7.Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
8.Remove from the oven and take out the sprigs of rosemary and parsley. Serve hot with the pan sauce poured over the pork chops.
