Ingredients

4 mackerel , washed , cleaned and de-boned ( Known as 'Banganda ' in Hindi )
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lime , juice of
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
1 onion , finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
4 red chilies
8 cloves
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cumin seed
4 cloves garlic
1/4 inch fresh ginger , washed , peeled and chopped
rice flour or semolina , as required , to shallow fry

Instructions

1.In a blender, combine the onion, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chilies, cloves, black pepper, cumin seed, garlic, and ginger.
2.Add the malt vinegar, olive oil, lime juice, and blend until smooth.
3.Stuff each mackerel with the blended mixture.
4.Lightly coat the fish with rice flour or semolina.
5.In a non-stick pan, heat some oil and place the stuffed fish in the pan.
6.Cook the fish on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until crispy turning occasionally to prevent from sticking.
7.Your goan-style fish reshad is ready to be served!
