Ingredients

1/4 cup clove
6 lbs apples , small peeled
2 lemons
11 cups water
11 cups sugar
2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 cup brandy

Instructions

1.Add water, cloves, cinnamon sticks and lemon juice into a pot and bring to a boil.
2.Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and add sugar.
3.Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved completely.
4.Add small peeled apples to the pot and cover them with a lid.
5.Simmer on low heat for about 1 hour until the apples become soft.
6.Once the apples are done, carefully remove them from the pot and place them in a bowl.
7.Add brandy to the syrup and cook for a further 2 minutes.
8.Pour the syrup over the apples and let it cool down.
9.Once cool, place in the refrigerator to chill.
