Ingredients

200 ml rice
4 ml water
1 1/4 liters milk
3 teaspoons salt
2 onions
50 g butter
100 ml raisins
4 tablespoons syrup
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 egg
300 g beef liver , ground ( or finely chopped )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 200°C.
2.Rinse rice and cook it in boiling water on medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain off any excess water and pour rice into a baking dish.
3.Add milk and 2 teaspoons of salt to the baking dish and mix well.
4.Peel and chop the onions, then fry them in butter until soft. Add raisins, syrup, white pepper, marjoram and the remaining teaspoon of salt to the onion mixture and stir well.
5.Mix the fried onion mixture, beef liver and egg in a bowl.
6.Pour the liver mixture into the baking dish with rice.
7.Bake in the oven for 1 hour.
