2 onions , chopped

500 g potatoes , peeled , cooked
4 sheets phyllo pastry
4 teaspoons sesame seeds , toasted
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
200 ml water

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C. Peel and cook the potatoes, then set them aside.
2.Fry the chopped onions in olive oil for a few minutes until they are soft.
3.Add minced beef, cumin, sea salt, and black pepper to the pan and stir well. Cook the beef until it is browned.
4.Put the cooked potatoes into the pan and mix everything together.
5.Layer the phyllo pastry sheets in a baking dish, brushing olive oil in between each layer.
6.Spoon the meat and potato mixture on top of the pastry sheets.
7.Fold the edges of the pastry over the top and brush with egg wash.
8.Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top of the pastry.
9.Bake the Fildzan Burek for about 30 minutes until it is golden brown and crispy.
