Ingredients

1 lb 80 % lean ground beef
3 slices white bread
1/3 cup whole milk
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 pinch oregano
2 medium yellow onions
garlic , lots ( thats what the recipe says )
1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2.Soak bread in milk for 5 minutes then beat with fork until smooth.
3.Mix beef, beaten bread, egg, half of the chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, parsley in a large mixing bowl.
4.Form meat mixture into medium-size meatballs.
5.Heat butter and vegetable oil in a large skillet on medium flame till butter begins to foam; cook meatballs until browned on all sides, about 10-15 minutes.
6.Remove meatballs from skillet and set aside.
7.Add remaining onions and garlic to the skillet and cook for 5min until onions are translucent.
8.Add can of tomatoes to the skillet and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5min.
9.Place the meatballs in a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
10.Serve meatballs hot with pasta or crusty bread. Enjoy!
