5 1/2 cups flour

Instructions

8.Once the dough has doubled in size, punch down the dough and turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut it into squares.
9.Heat oil in a large pot or deep fryer. Fry the squares, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with granulated sugar while still warm.
