Ingredients

1 kg fresh green beans ( alternatively use frozen French green beans )
450 g potatoes , cut in 1 1/2 inches pieces
450 g plum tomatoes ( alternatively use 1 tin of tomatoes )
3 medium onions , finely chopped
4 garlic cloves , crushed
100 ml olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika ( optional )
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
salt & freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons parsley , finely chopped to garnish ( optional )

Instructions

6.Cover the pot with a lid, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low, and let it simmer.
7.Let the stew cook for about 30 to 40 minutes on low heat until the vegetables are tender.
8.When ready, top with parsley to garnish and serve warm.
