Instructions

1.In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, parsley, lemon juice and garlic; pulse until mixture is finely chopped.
2.Add coriander, cumin, salt, pepper, turmeric, cayenne and baking powder; pulse until mixture is combined.
3.Transfer mixture to a large bowl; stir in flour until well combined.
4.Shape mixture into balls; flatten to form small discs.
5.In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
6.Fry falafel until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
7.For tahini sauce, mix tahini, water, lemon juice, garlic, salt and cayenne in a small bowl until smooth.
8.For cilantro sauce, combine cilantro, garlic, green onions, red pepper flakes, peanut oil, vegetable oil, salt, pepper and sugar in a small bowl.
9.Serve falafel with warm pita bread, shredded lettuce, diced tomato and both sauces.
