Ingredients

1 pound Italian sausage , casings removed
1 pint ricotta cheese
1 egg , lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese , divided
1 jar spaghetti sauce
12 no-boil lasagna noodles
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch (22x33 cm) baking dish.
2.In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned.
3.In a medium bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, beaten egg, basil, thyme, garlic powder, oregano, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
4.Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Top with 3 lasagna noodles, then half of the ricotta mixture, followed by half of the cooked sausage.
5.Repeat layers with another layer of sauce, noodles, ricotta, and sausage. Top with the remaining 3 lasagna noodles, remaining sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
6.Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
