Ingredients

400 g sweetened condensed milk ( Nestle sweetened condensed milk is what I use )
300 g desiccated coconut ( Use freshly grated coconut )
100 g full cream milk powder
1/2 cup milk ( I use Virtually fat-free milk to make it slightly guilt-free )
3 -5 drops green food coloring

Instructions

1.Take a clean and dry non-stick kadhai. Now, add desiccated coconut and milk powder to the kadhai and mix it well.
2.Add condensed milk to the mixture and mix well.
3.Add milk to the mixture and cook on low flame. Continuously stir the mixture until it forms a lump, and the mixture starts leaving the side of the kadhai.
4.Once the mixture starts forming a dough-like consistency, add green food coloring to it and mix well.
5.Next, transfer the mixture to a greased plate and allow it to cool down for 15-20 minutes.
6.Cut burfee into the desired shape and size and garnish it with chopped pistachios to add an extra crunch.
