1/2 small onion , chopped fine
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
sofrito sauce
1 dash black pepper
15 discos ( turnover pastry dough , in the frozen pastry dough or ethnic frozen foods aisle )
water ( to seal edges of pastry )
oil ( for frying )

Instructions

7.Heat a deep pan with oil on medium-high heat and fry the empanadas until golden brown.
8.Remove the empanadas and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
