Ingredients

2 2 cups brown rice or 2 cups white rice ( may be substituted )
1 teaspoon salt
5 cups cold water
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon loose jasmine tea , with flowers
1/4 cup hot water
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning

Instructions

1.Rinse the rice in cold water and drain. Set it aside.
2.In a large saucepan, combine the salt and water and bring to a boil.

4.Cook the rice for 40-50 minutes, until it is tender and all the water has been absorbed.

7.In a small bowl, combine the loose jasmine tea with the hot water and set aside.
8.Once the rice is cooked, add the margarine mixture and the jasmine tea liquid to the pot. Fluff the rice with a fork to combine all the ingredients. Serve hot.
