1 cup long grain rice
1/2 cup vermicelli
2 tablespoons butter
1 can chicken broth
salt

Instructions

1.Rinse the rice in a fine strainer and drain well
2.Break vermicelli into 2 inch pieces
3.Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté vermicelli until golden brown
4.Add rice, chicken broth, salt and pepper
5.Bring mixture to a boil
6.Cover the pot, reduce heat and simmer for 18-20 minutes
7.Fluff the rice and serve hot
