Ingredients

1 large eggplant , sliced and unpeeled
1 lb ground lamb or 1 lb ground beef
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon salt
pepper
1/4 teaspoon clove
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 medium onions , sliced ( or chopped )
2 -3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.

5.Drizzle melted butter over the top of the dish.
6.Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
