4 pods green cardamom
1 cup milk
4 eggs , beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon semolina
1/2 cup dry milk powder

Instructions

1.In a mortar and pestle, crush the cardamom pods and remove the seeds.
2.In a saucepan over medium heat, add the milk and cardamom seeds. Stir until the milk comes to a boil.
3.Reduce heat to low and add the beaten eggs. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens.
4.Add sugar, shortening, and semolina. Keep stirring.
5.Add dry milk powder while stirring until the mixture has thickened and leaves the edges of the pan.
6.Transfer the mixture to a greased dish and let it cool down completely.
