Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 220C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

3.Rub the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Make a well in the center.
4.Gradually mix in milk with a knife until the dough comes together and forms a soft and sticky dough.

6.Pat the dough into a roughly 2cm thick round shape. Cut into 8-12 wedges depending on the desired size.
7.Transfer the scones to a lined baking tray, brush the tops with extra milk and bake them in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
