Ingredients

7 -8 ounces baby spinach leaves
7 -8 ounces mushrooms
1/2 cup onion , finely chopped
4 eggs , largest size you have ( I prefer free-range eggs )
5 -6 ounces yoghurt , plain , Greek preferred
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce ( or other hot sauce )
1 -2 teaspoon garlic , finely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs , dried
A tart is a type of baked dish that has a pastry base and usually a filling of sweet or savoury ingredients. Spinach and mushroom tart is a healthy and wholesome dish that can be served as a side dish for lunch and dinner. This recipe is easy to make, and the nutty flavour of mushrooms mixed with savoury spinach and seasoned yoghurt is sure to delight your taste buds. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 175°C or 350°F.
2.Chop the mushrooms finely and sauté them in olive oil until they release and lose their moisture. Set them aside to cool.
3.In the same pan, add more olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Set it aside to cool.
4.In a bowl, beat the eggs, yoghurt, seasoning salt, Tabasco sauce and set it aside.
5.Add breadcrumbs to the cooled mushrooms and onion-spinach mixture.
6.Take a 9-inch pie dish and grease it with butter. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on it to coat it evenly.
7.Pour the mixture onto the pie dish and bake it for 40-45 minutes until the top turns golden brown.
8.Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
