1 onion , chopped finely
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin , depends on taste
1 egg
1/4 cup dried breadcrumbs
2 cans tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
fresh cilantro ( to garnish )

Instructions

1.In a bowl mix together the ground beef, onion, parsley, cumin, egg, and dried breadcrumbs until well combined.
2.Shape the mixture into balls or oval shaped balls (kuftas) and set aside.

4.Add the kuftas to the tomato sauce and mix until the kuftas are fully soaked in the sauce.
5.Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes, or until the kuftas are fully cooked.
6.Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
