150 g self-raising flour

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4.
2.Grease and line a 20cm cake tin.

11.Use a toothpick or skewer to check if the cake is done. Insert the toothpick/skewer into the center of the cake and pull it out. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
12.Let it cool completely before frosting.
13.In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter until pale and fluffy.
14.Sift the icing sugar into the bowl and mix well.
15.Gradually stir in the melted dark chocolate until smooth and well combined.
16.Spread the frosting over the cake and smooth with a spatula.
