Ingredients

250 g flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
125 g brown sugar
100 g soft butter
2 tablespoons of speculaas spices ( see my other recipe )
salt
3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, speculaas spices, and a pinch of salt.
3.Add the soft butter and milk to the bowl and knead the mixture into a crumbly dough.
4.Roll small pieces of the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
5.Bake the kruidnoten in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. They should be golden brown when done.
6.Allow the kruidnoten to cool and then store them in an airtight container.
