Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 170°C.
2.Heat the olive oil in a large ovenproof casserole dish over medium heat.

4.In the same pot, cook onions until they are brown. Add turmeric and sugar; stir until fragrant.
5.Return duck legs to the pan, skin side up. Add apple slices and enough water to cover the meat.
6.Bring mixture to a boil and bake in the oven for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the meat is tender.
7.Remove from the oven and sprinkle with almonds, sesame seeds, and orange blossom water. Serve with couscous.
