3/4 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons minced dried onion
2 tablespoons dill seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, proof yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water for 5 minutes.
2.Add flour, baking soda, salt, egg, water, cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar and mix well until everything is combined.
3.Add minced dried onion and dill seeds and mix again.
4.Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then place it in a greased bowl and cover it.
5.Let the dough rise in a warm place for approximately 1 hour or until it's doubled in size.
6.Punch the dough down and transfer to a greased loaf pan.
7.Let the dough rise again in a warm place for approximately 30 minutes or until it's doubled in size.
8.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
9.Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
10.Brush the top of the bread with melted butter.
11.Bake for 35-40 minutes until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
