1 1/4 cups cold water
1 cup caster sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick , 2-inch
10 peaches , peeled , pitted and halved
4 tablespoons drambuie

Instructions

1.In a large pot, combine water, caster sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon stick.
2.Bring to a simmer and stir until the sugar dissolves.
3.Add in the peeled, pitted, and halved peaches.
4.Simmer for 8-10 minutes, until the peaches are soft.
5.Using a slotted spoon, remove the peaches and place them into a bowl.
6.Return the pot to the stove and bring the liquid to a boil.
7.Cook until the liquid has reduced by half.
8.Remove from heat and stir in the Drambuie.
9.Pour the mixture over the peaches and let them cool.
10.Serve and enjoy!
