The dill and pickling spices give the salmon a fresh and tangy flavor, while the creamy mustard mayonnaise adds a rich and velvety texture. This dish is perfect for a light lunch or dinner, and can be served with rye bread, boiled potatoes, or a simple green salad. Make sure to prepare the salmon at least 24 hours in advance to allow it to pickle properly and soak up all the delicious flavors.

Instructions

2.Mix together the fresh dill, sliced onions, sliced carrots, bay leaves, mixed peppercorns, sugar, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
3.Place the salmon fillets into a glass container and pour the malt vinegar and dry white wine over the top, then scatter the lemon peel and Italian parsley on top.
4.Cover the container and refrigerate the salmon for at least 24 hours, turning the fillets occasionally to ensure even pickling.
