2 tablespoons fast rising yeast

2 tablespoons butter , melted
4 tablespoons sugar
2 cups small curd cottage cheese , warmed slightly in microwave
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes , minced
2 tablespoons dried dill
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
2 eggs
4 1/2 - 5 cups all-purpose flour
cornmeal , for dusting pans
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons water

Instructions

1.Dissolve yeast in warm water
2.Add melted butter, sugar, cottage cheese, onion flakes, dill, baking soda, salt and eggs, mix well
3.Add 3 cups flour and mix well
4.Add rest of flour gradually while kneading until dough is smooth and elastic
5.Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour
6.Punch down dough and shape into 3 loaves
7.Place on cornmeal dusted pans and let rise for 30 minutes
8.Beat together egg yolk and water and brush over loaves
9.Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until golden brown
10.Cool on wire racks
