Ingredients

1/4 cup black bengal gram dal , split ( chana dal )
1/4 cup red kidney beans ( rajma )
1/4 cup Urad Dal
2 medium onions
9 cloves garlic
1 green chili
4 medium tomatoes
1/4 cup coriander leaves
4 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
salt
2 tablespoons kasuri methi
10 tablespoons yogurt

Instructions

1.Soak the split black bengal gram dal, red kidney beans, and Urad dal for 6 hours.
2.Chop the onions, garlic, green chili, and tomatoes and keep them aside.
3.Blend the soaked dal and beans in a blender without water.
4.Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and garlic. Saute until golden brown.
5.Add chopped green chili, chopped tomatoes, and saute until the oil starts separating from the mixture.
6.Add red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
7.Add the blended dal and beans to the pan and mix well.
8.Add kasuri methi and yogurt, mix well, and cook for 10-15 minutes.
9.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati.
