Ingredients

1 kg rump steak or 1 kg steak fillet
1 onion , chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 cup beef stock
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon sugar
400 g chopped tomatoes
250 g chopped mushrooms
2 tablespoons cornflour
2 tablespoons water

Instructions

7.Spoon the mixture into a baking dish. Cover with puff pastry and brush with beaten egg.
8.Place in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
