This Delicious French Fries and Pork Chops (Or Chicken) Bake Recipe is a fun and easy dish that combines crispy French fries, tender pork chops (or chicken), and a rich and creamy cheese sauce. The dish is filling and satisfying, making it perfect for a family dinner or a casual get-together with friends. The recipe is easily customizable, so you can tailor it to your liking by adding extra veggies, using a different type of cream soup, or adjusting the seasoning to your preference.

Instructions

.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
.Generously season the pork chops on both sides with black pepper, garlic powder, and seasoning salt (if using).
.In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the oil and swirl to coat the pan.
.Add the pork chops and cook for roughly 3 minutes on each side. You want them to have a nice golden brown crust on the outside, so don't overcrowd the pan.
.In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the undiluted cream soup, half-and-half or milk, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, and grated old cheddar cheese until well combined. Reserve 1/2 cup of the Durkee onions for later, then add the rest to the bowl and mix again.
.Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with the slightly thawed and chopped French fries. Pour the cheese sauce over the fries, making sure to spread it out evenly.
.Arrange the pork chops on top of the cheese sauce. Sprinkle the remaining Durkee onions over the pork chops.
.Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
.After 45 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over everything. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
.Allow the dish to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
