Ingredients

1 slice white bread
4 tablespoons walnut oil
25 g pecan nuts
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon clear honey
1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
salt and black pepper
2 pears
1 tablespoon lemon juice
180 g mixed lettuce leaves
4 stalks celery , sliced
250 g dolcelatte , cheese , cubed
This Delicious Dolcelatte and Pear Salad is a classic combination of sweet pears, salty cheese and crunchy nuts, all brought together with a tangy mustard dressing. The addition of mixed lettuce and celery adds some extra green goodness and texture, making it a wholesome and satisfying meal. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Spread the slice of bread out on a baking sheet, drizzle over 1 tablespoon of walnut oil and bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes until golden.
2.Allow to cool and then tear into bite-size pieces and set aside.
3.Place the pecan nuts on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes until golden. Set aside to cool.
4.In a jug, whisk together the remaining 3 tablespoons of walnut oil, balsamic vinegar, honey and mustard. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5.Cut each pear into eight, remove the core and toss in the lemon juice to prevent browning.
6.In a large bowl, mix the lettuce leaves with the sliced celery and drizzle with the dressing. Toss well to coat.
7.Divide the salad between four plates and scatter over the croutons, walnuts and cubes of dolcelatte cheese.
