Ingredients

1 wild turkey , whole , dressed
peanut oil , for frying ( about 2.5 gallons )
1 cup Italian salad dressing
1/2 cup lemon juice , fresh
3 tablespoons onion juice
3 tablespoons garlic juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 1/3 ounces cayenne
1/4 cup salt

Instructions

1.Heat the oil to 375°F in a large, deep pot or fryer.

3.Place the turkey in the marinade and let it sit for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
4.When ready to cook, remove the turkey from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels.
5.Carefully place the turkey in the hot oil and fry for approximately 3-4 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
6.Remove the turkey from the oil and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before carving and serving.
