Ingredients

1 1 lb ground chicken or 1 lb ground turkey
1 lb hot Italian sausage
1 container ricotta cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce ( use your favorite flavor and brand )
1/2 cup wine
lasagna noodle ( I use Italian style - you do n't have to pre-cook )
parmesan cheese
mozzarella cheese
cheddar cheese

Deb's Homemade Lasagna recipe adds a unique twist with the use of ground chicken or turkey, hot Italian sausage, and a blend of different types of cheeses. Unlike traditional lasagna recipes, Deb's Homemade Lasagna doesn't require pre-cooking the pasta noodles, which makes the preparation process faster and more straightforward. Plus, leftovers are also delicious and make for an excellent meal the next day!

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken or turkey and hot Italian sausage together until browned and crumbled.
3.Pour in 1/2 cup of wine and 1 jar of spaghetti sauce, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
4.In a baking dish, layer lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers, ending with the last of the meat sauce and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on top.
5.Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
