Ingredients

150 g butter
210 g flour
80 g ground hazelnuts or 80 g almonds
80 g powdered sugar
1 egg
60 g powdered sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla sugar
Danish Vanilla Crescent Cookies are a classic buttery cookie that is rolled in powdered sugar. With a nutty flavour, these cookies are the perfect treat to enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea. They are relatively easy to make and can be stored for several weeks in an airtight container.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 160°C.
2.Mix the butter, flour, ground almonds, and powdered sugar in a bowl.
3.Add in the egg and vanilla sugar and blend the mixture until smooth.
4.Shape the dough into crescent moons and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
5.Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
6.Remove from the oven and let them cool.
7.Roll them in a bowl of powdered sugar and serve.
