1 cup water

3 lemon slices
2 cups red wine

Instructions

1.In a medium saucepan, mix together cornstarch and sugar.
2.Add water, cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon slices to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
3.Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
4.Add red wine and rhubarb to the saucepan and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
5.Remove from heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
6.Serve in bowls with a dollop of heavy cream.
