Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour

1 egg yolk , with enough milk to make 2/3 cup
4 handfuls corn flakes
8 -10 medium apples
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg white
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 -3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt.

10.Beat egg white and brush over top of dough.
11.Bake for about 50 minutes or until golden brown.
12.In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk together to make a glaze.
13.Drizzle glaze over warm apple bars.
14.Serve warm and enjoy!
