Ingredients

400 g veal liver , in thin slices
30 g flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
50 g butter
2 onions ( about 125 gr )
4 tomatoes
200 g green beans
300 ml milk
curry ( optional )
1/4 teaspoon liquid gravy browner
potato , for four
1 tablespoon chopped parsley , for decoration on boiled potatoes at serving time
Danish Inn-Keepers Veal Liver-Dish (Krokonens Lever-Fad) is a traditional Danish dish that is still popular today. It is a hearty meal that is perfect for cold winter evenings. Instructions

1.Mix the flour, salt and pepper together
2.Coat the veal liver slices in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess
3.Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat
4.Fry the liver slices for about 2 minutes on each side, then remove from skillet
5.Add the onions, tomatoes and green beans to the skillet and fry for about 5 minutes
6.Return the liver slices to the skillet
7.Add the milk, curry (optional) and liquid gravy browner to the skillet
8.Let the dish cook for 10-15 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally
9.Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes
10.Serve the dish hot on boiled potatoes and sprinkle with chopped parsley
