2 cups granulated sugar | |
1 lb butter , room temperature | |
1 teaspoon salt | |
1 teaspoon vanilla | |
2 eggs |
1. | Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). |
2. | In a large bowl, mix together flour and salt. |
3. | In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. |
4. | Beat in vanilla and eggs. |
5. | Gradually add flour mixture and mix until dough forms. |
6. | Fit a cookie press with a decorative disc and fill with dough. |
7. | Press cookies onto ungreased baking sheets. |
8. | Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. |
9. | Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. |
