2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1/4 cup cold water
1 tablespoon vinegar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
2.Cut beef into 1 inch cubed pieces.
3.Heat the oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat.

5.Remove the browned beef from the dutch oven.
6.Add the sliced onions and bay leaves to the dutch oven.
7.Cook for 5 minutes, or until the onions are translucent.
8.Add the brown sugar and stir until it dissolves.
9.Add the beef back into the dutch oven.
10.Pour in the boiling water.
11.Mix together the flour and paprika.
12.Add the flour and paprika mixture to the dutch oven.
13.Stir until it thickens.
14.Add in the cold water and vinegar.
15.Cover the dutch oven and bake for 2 hours.
16.Remove bay leaves before serving.
