2 tablespoons butter
1 onion , minced
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Swedish meatballs are a traditional dish that has been enjoyed by people all around the world for centuries. Dana's Famous Swedish Meatballs are unique because they're made with a combination of ground beef and pork, and are spiced with cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg which gives them a rich and unique flavor. Instructions

1.Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat and cook the minced onion in it until it turns translucent.
2.In a mixing bowl, combine the minced onions, sour cream, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, and eggs.
3.Add in the ground beef, ground pork, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper and mix well to combine. Take small portions of the mixture to form into small balls.
4.In the same pan, melt 2 more tablespoons of butter and carefully add the meatballs to it. Brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5-6 minutes until they're cooked completely through.
5.Serve the meatballs hot with your choice of side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or lingonberry sauce.
