1/2 cup hoisin sauce
3 lbs pork spareribs
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons water

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground cloves in a bowl.
3.Place spare ribs in a large baking dish. Brush the marinade on both sides of the ribs. Reserve some marinade for later. Cover the dish with foil.
4.Bake for 2 hours. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
5.Mix cornstarch and water in a bowl to make a slurry.
6.Bring the remaining marinade to a boil. Add the slurry to thicken the sauce.
7.Serve ribs with the sauce.
